There is a balance to be struck between keeping IP close and taking it to your grave alone. IP that doesn't grow with a team decays, and there are a million terrific ideas every day. Venture capital is much more than just the money - it is about the team you get, and there has to be trust.... Warren Buffet only deals with people he likes, trusts and respects - so it seems a good model.
